If you think you have a weight problem, have your parents take you to your doctor. If they agree that you need to lose weight, either the doctor, or a dietician, can help you devise a healthy, effective, age-appropriate and do-able diet and exercise program. This is the only way to do it and stay healthy.

If, on the other hand, you want to feel and look like crap, go ahead and do what you suggest in your question.

You wont loose weight if you dont eat, you should eat healthier foods like: carrot.apple,pear,bannana,cherry...ETC.

Advice into loosing weight:

If You're Overweight, Slim Down for Better Health

Overweight people have an increased risk of high blood pressure, heart disease, and other illnesses. Losing weight reduces the risk. This brochure tells you how to lose weight safely.

Ask Your Doctor About Sensible Goals

Your doctor or other health worker can help you set sensible goals based on a proper weight for your height, build and age.

Men and very active women may need up to 2,500 calories daily. Other women and inactive men need only about 2,000 calories daily. A safe plan is to eat 300 to 500 fewer calories a day to lose 1 to 2 pounds a week.

Exercise 30 Minutes

Do at least 30 minutes of exercise, like brisk walking, most days of the week.

The idea is to use up more calories than you eat. You need to use up the day's calories and some of the calories stored in your body fat.

Eat Less Fat and Sugar

This will help you cut calories. Fried foods and fatty desserts can quickly use up a day's calories. And these foods may not provide the other nutrients you need.

Make sure your other foods that day are low in fat and calories.

Eat a Wide Variety Of Foods

Variety in the diet helps you get all the vitamins and other nutrients you need.

Watch Out for Promises of Quick And Easy Weight Loss

Fad diets aren't good because they often call for too much or too little of one type of food. As a result, you may not get important nutrients you need daily.

Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably isn't true.

What About Diet Pills?

Diet pills you buy without a prescription won't make a big difference in how much you lose each week or how long you keep the weight off. If you do use them, read the label carefully. Because of possible side effects, like high blood pressure, never take more than the listed dose.

Also, be careful about taking cough or cold medicines with diet pills you buy without a prescription. These medicines may contain the same drug used in diet pills, or a similar drug with the same effects. If you take both products together, you may get too much of the same type of drug. This can hurt you.

Before taking a cough or cold medicine while using diet pills, ask your pharmacist if it's OK.

Prescription diet pills may help some people. If you use them, follow the doctor's directions carefully.

Well, that's probably the case, BUT you need not try it. You should undertake exercise which is suitable for losing weight in the parts of your body, which you feel are overweight. This should nevertheless be combined with a diet, in which you eat. You should avoid ALL junk food and most fat. But starving completely is not healthy. You are in such an age, that you should still aim to eat protein and vitamins and calcium- eat low-fat meat, like chicken (never fired), lots of vegetable and fruits and milk products. Your body needs these nutrients.
NOW, not eating can lead to anorexia and other problems; you just have to eat. But when you are hungry, eat a lettuce or a tomato or something that has very few calories. But you have to make sure that you still eat proteins, calcium and vitamins.
And the diet takes long. You need to consider how overweight you think you are (if at all?). Anyway, if you eat less food, and exercise you should be able to find that you are losing weight.
BUT never starve for toooo long.

"Stop eating much?" Bad idea, especially at your age. You'll lose weight, all right, but you'll exhaust yourself and become malnourished. And once you begin eating again it'll come right back on. The best way to lose weight is to eat five or more smaller meals instead of two or three larger ones per day--and eat a healthy balance of foods when you do. Do that and exercise and you should do well. But if you're only 13, don't push yourself too hard. A year or two and you could slim down without doing anything at all.

Unfortunately no. It takes far too long for the body to adjust to being without food befreo any weightloss is evident. I hvae gone for extended periods (a week or more) without eating and not lost more than 2 or 3 pounds. In order for weight loss to occur a person has to go for such a long period that the damage done to their body is severe. Starvation also has a dramatic impact on the mind as well. Best to simply restructure what you eat, when you eat, and how much you eat at a time. Also, vitamin and mineral suppliments will help with both appetite control and with weight loss. Remember too that exercise builds muscle and muscloe weight more than fat so you may indeed be getting smaller, but your weight might actually increase slightly as the same amoung of muscle will weight almost half again as much as the same amount of fat.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

If you are over weight..first thing to do is to ask your doctor how many calories that you should consume per day. , then portion your meals to six small meals a day. Your body needs fuel to burn calories. Drink at least 32 oz. of water, to flush out the fat and to keep you hydrated. DO NOT stop eating! You will go into malnutrition, and your body will burn muscle tissue. You will eventually start to loose your hair, your teeth will decay, eyesight will falter, and your internal organs will fail. You did not put the weight on over night, so dont think you can loose it over night. Loosing more than 5 lbs. per month is unhealthy! Slow and easy taking it off, and it will stay off. Fast and furious taking it off, and you will gain twice as much as you took off! Good Luck !

Actually that is not true. Your body uses food for energy. When you don't eat you lose energy and don't lose any calories, becasue your body is in slow motion from not eating. Remember food is a fuel. I have a really overweight friend who eats once a day and she actually gains weight, becasue her body is so slow from not eating that whatever she does eat never gets fully digested. If you want to lose weight, take calcium once a day. Eat lots of yogurt and drink lots of water. Not to mention excercise. NEVER starve yourself. It will just make things worse for you. I did that through highschool and went through Menopause early, becasue I starved myself, I could never have kids now. My body was so unhealthy I went through menopause at 20. Never resort to drastic measures for losing weight, nothing happens overnight. Always go healthier food when you want to lose weight. And be patient you will not lose weight over night.

the answer to not eating is yes you will lose weight while not eating, but you are sending your body the message of starvation and as soon as you start eating again your body will take those calories and store it as fat, not good if you really want to lose weight.
you should eat whole grains, lots of fruits and veggies, dairy and a good source of protein with every meal. Your body is an engine and needs a variety to run well, drink lots of water and stay away from empty calories, refined sugars, bleached flours, and trans fats. Also feel i should say not to focus on the scale, focus on how your cloths fit and how you feel. Good luck with you fitness goals, please do it safely!

I eat a small breakfast and then one meal at 5pm, then have a snack at round 8pm - frequently fruit or a rice cake or something. i have been doing this when you consider that 1st January this year and its worked for me. so a procedures I actually have lost 54lbs. Its taken me all year to lose it yet countless the burden relief became early on interior the year although i eat a lot less now. i'd propose 3 foodstuff, it will be a lot less complicated to maintain it after. Why not have a mild breakfast of cereal (20g muesli or bran flakes with soya mild milk/skim milk), A soup for lunch or a plate of salad - no dressing, For dinner have 2 slices of wholemeal bread (nimble or weight watchers - no spread or 5g flowers mild spread) and 160g of blended steamed veg. enable one snack in protecting with day of fruit or a tiny quantity - 2tbs of something you truly opt for (verify calorie and fat content). the burden will come off rapidly.
