OOOOHHH i'm sorry for being curious!!!!!! i wouldn't ask that if i knew the answer..well, i didn't so i asked. i'm so @%&^*ing sorry if i wanted to know out of curiosity. stop making your own damned conclusions about why i asked that question because first of all, you don't know a fig about me and second, i just want to be informed..for the sake of being informed. the same way a kid wants to know where he came from.
stop pretending to be know-it-all's.

You need to know your dogs health ,make sure that he is absolutely healthy, and that he has a good personality,if he is shy,or aggressive and on and on.You need to learn your dog before you breed it.It is possible for him to breed around 9-12 months some puppies act like they want to breed a while before they actually can successfully. Please research and observe your dogs carefully,Know what you have ,and know what you are getting into and do not expect to make money. If you care for your puppies and their mom and dad the way they should be it will cost you more than you could ever make. Not to mention time and effort and sometimes heartache. You should know that there are others out there that are going to give them forever homes or be willing to take them back. There is much to Breeding that is unspoken,Proper housing, environment, heat, air, ventilation,in house or outside????Many ,many considerations should be explored before you decide to breed.Don't worry about asking questions on this site, some people are sooooo rude and ill they need a doctor. They make fun of everybody and everything, don,t let it get to you.I been there and done that.I am sooo proud we are all different, this life would be a dull as dirt.Good Luck!!!

You can mate the rott as a small pup min 9 months but your better off waiting until at least 13mo-18 mo this will allow the dog to really develope and this is his teenage years so you will be able to gauge your future litter. And when you do breed make sure its with great stock that has been bred for loyalty ,protection and all around family pets. Good luck

At least two years old.

He also needs to be OFA'd.

This will give you plenty of time to do your research, because right now you do not know nearly enough to even think about breeding dogs.
