Hello =)

Gleaned from many of the answers here.......yes...many of them do, but the die-hard creationists believe that they co-existed in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve.

I refer to this as the "Flinstonian Period" of history.........

Oddly enough, they seem to be resistant to the idea of carnivorous dinosaurs, however, and insist that they were gentle vegetarians for some reason.....

They believe that fossils were created during the great flood.

I must admire their courage and conviction, of course, to choose the path of absurdity on this issue, for, while I grant them their convictions to be no less valid than anyone else's, they certainly are a lot sillier.

Namaste, and Happy New Year,

--Tom

This Christian does, But they were all killed in the Ice Age, & there was NO Dinosaurs between Adam & Noah as many thinks, Gen 1: 28 Tells Adam the same thing God told Noah in Gen 9:1 To REPLINISH THE EARTH, OR TO FILL IT UP AGAIN. TOO many Christians overlook the scriptures, they just read & don't study, There is many other verses I can use, But I won't because if they won't believe one verses they won't believe the others. That Prehistoric time was a testing time for the animal kingdom & the Angelic kingdom, & at the beginning of the prehistoric time, Satan & his angels had already fallen.

Yes, some do! Some people believe between verse 1-3 in the book of Genesis Chapter 1, is the time of the Dinosaurs

I am a Christian, and I believe God created all animals. There is evidence of dinosaurs - look at your nearest museum and you'll see fossilized bones. They had to be here to be discovered. Do I believe in the big bang theory? No. Do I believe they were extinct because of the ice age? Not necessarily. Do I believe the earth is billions of years old? No. I believe in the beginning God created everything in 6 earthly days and rested on the 7th day. I believe Adam named all the animals. I believe Job saw dinosaurs (called Leviathan). I also believe science and Christianity do not have to be enemies. Science is proving what the Bible said to be true more and more each day.

Yes, as a Christian I too believe that man has exsisted only 6000 years on the earth, however, the earth itself was here long before people were. I personally believe that dinosaurs helped keep vegetation down on the earth, if they weren't here, the earth would have overgrown before man was planted on it. The Bible says 1,000 years is but a day in the eye's of God. That might help in our understanding of the 7 days of creation.

Wow the morons are really out in droves aren't they?
First, the animals described in Job are clearly an elephant (Behemoth is described as having "stones". Obviously, dinosaurs did not have testicles.) And Leviathan is a whale. No dinos here.
So for you creationists that keep insisting that the bible is in anyway based in reality, here is a huge wake up call for you;
It's not.
Period.

I have never seen a dinosaur? Do you see dinosaurs? I can't imagine how dinosaurs have anything to do with faith in God, but yes apparently there are many beast that once existed the Bible speaks of some of them. But I can't see how they would be pertinent enough for God to mention as they have little to do with salvation.

Speaking as a Christian with degrees in Anthropology, Geology and Theology, I do.

I've walked in their footsteps in Glen Rose, Texas. I've unearthed their bones in Montana with James Horner.

I have no problem believing in an earth that is billions of years old. I have no problem with evolution as a way to create. After all, I believe in a God Who is infinite (lots of room there), eternal (lots and lots of time there), and omnipotent (any which of a way He wants to do it, He can!).

Pity so many keep trying to put Him in a little bitty box and tell Him how He has to do things in order to satisfy their tiny minds.

They should. Dinosaurs existed at the same time as early Humans and were domesticated by them to perform many useful tasks.

Sure, why not? The Bible doesn't mention Orca whales but I know they exist too. The Bible doesn't have to specifically mention something to make it true.
