what do guys like about the chase?
what do they see "as the point" in the chase?
are they just chasing for sex or are they really interested?

The point with the phrase is that it doesn't matter what they are after - it's just that they prefer the chasing bit to the catching bit. Once they have acheived the catch they get bored. Much like a dog chasing a cat (what happens when they catch the cat? Nothing normally...)

It's the challenge and the women like being chased. Once it develops into something more then you're into serious relationship territory.

I prefer it to be offered on a plate as the chase doesn't always result in the best outcome.

alot of guys just chase to prove themselves. It is gratifying to be able to pick a beautiful girl and get her number. kinda a self esteem builder.you know? Not always sex, but sometimes its a complement. your beautiful so i would like to know if you wanted to go out to a movie or if i could have your phone number. now said like that gurls would be flatered. most guys just dont say it like that

Its a game. If its too easy, its not fun.
If its too difficult, then maybe we'd give up.
Its a bit like looking forwardto Christmas - thats quite nice, but Christmas itself is crap.

when a girl is too easy to get i assume i was wrong to think she was hot/ cool in the first place cuz why would a hot cool girl be so easy to get... im sorry its flawed logic but thats just the way it is...
