hey i got a pulsar watch at a yardsale and now it is always behind. i set it yesterday and as of now when its supposed to be 6:50 at North Carolina, thursday 28, 06; my watch says 5:57, wednsday, 06

WTFreak is going on?

Why do you think the previous owner was selling the watch in the first place?

If it's mechanical, a jeweler can adjust it's rate. If it's electronic, then the crystal has gone off and needs to be replaced,, that's the crystal oscillator in the watch, not the glass. But they will not replace the osc for you, they will tell you it needs a new mechanism. Hope it's mechanical.

What do you expect? Why do you think it was for sale at a garage sale no less? LOL Take it to someone who repairs watches. You'd probably be better off just buying a new one from a store, not a garage or yard sale.
