Yes, here is the narrative
The Jews Plot to Kill Jesus
Allah states that the Children of Israel tried to kill Jesus by conspiring to defame him and crucify him. They complained about him to the king who was a disbeliever. They claimed that Jesus was a man who misguided people, discouraged them from obeying the king, caused division, and separated between man and his own son. They also said other lies about Jesus, which they will carry on their necks, including accusing him of being an illegitimate son. The king became furious and sent his men to capture Jesus to torture and crucify him. When they surrounded Jesus's home and he thought that they would surely capture him, Allah saved him from them, raising him up from the house to heaven. Allah put the image of Jesus on a man who was in the house; when the unjust people went in the house while it was still dark, they thought that he was Jesus. They captured that man, humiliated and crucified him. They also placed thorns on his head. However, Allah deceived these people. He saved and raised His Prophet from them, leaving them in disarray in the darkness of their transgression, thinking that they had successfully achieved their goal. Allah made their hearts hard, and defiant of the truth, disgracing them in such disgrace that it will remain with them until the Day of Resurrection. This is why Allah said,
[وَمَكَرُواْ وَمَكَرَ اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ خَيْرُ الْمَـكِرِينَ ]
(And they plotted, and Allah planned too. And Allah is the Best of those who plot.)
t(55. And (remember) when Allah said: "O Jesus! I will take you and raise you to Myself and purify [save] you from those who disbelieve, and I will make those who follow you superior to those who disbelieve till the Day of Resurrection. Then you will return to Me and I will judge between you in the matters in which you used to dispute.'' (56. "As to those who disbelieve, I will punish them with severe torment in this world and in the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers.'') (57. And as for those who believe and do righteous good deeds, Allah will pay them their reward in full. And Allah does not like the wrongdoers.) (58. This is what We recite to you of the verses and the Wise Reminder.)

in the start Paperback is ideal. The Jewish human beings didn’t kill Jesus because they were not allowed to sentence and kill someone for a criminal offense. fantastically in a cruel and barbaric way (like the Romans did). And secondly the reason that the non secular authorities were disillusioned with Jesus replaced into because he replaced into claiming to be G-d’s son; there for equivalent of G-d himself. that is punctiliously antagonistic to each little thing Judaism stands for. We position self belief in a unmarried indivisible G-d and he on my own saves. In Isaiah 40 3: 11 it says: I, even i'm the L-rd; and beside me there replaced into no savior. I have declared and that i have kept, and that i have presented and there replaced into no unusual god from between you; hence ye are my witnesses, saith the L-rd, and that i'm G-d. And in Isaiah 40 4:6 ……i'm the first and that i'm the superb, and beside me there is not any god. also G-d reported that he's not a guy. Numbers 23:19 G-d isn't a guy, that He might want to lie; neither is he the son of guy that He might want to repent. So yeah, that’s why the non secular authorities were disillusioned with Jesus. The Romans said Jesus as a political probability because the human beings that believed in Jesus concept that he replaced into the messiah which could carry an end to Roman administration of Israel. The Romans were afraid that the rumors of Jesus being the despatched messiah to distroy them would come authentic; so as that they'd him killed. yet Jesus under no circumstances enacted a insurrection antagonistic to the Romans and he wasn’t the messiah after all.

But Allâh raised him ['Iesa (Jesus)] up (with his body and soul) unto Himself (and he is in the heavens). And Allâh is Ever AllPowerful, AllWise. )" (Q.4:157-158)
Where is this physical heaven that Christ would be, why would God let an innocent man die on the cross instead of Jesus, would you consider that as just, or is God playing tricks on people ?
In Mt.17,22 Jesus tells us,
22 And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men:
23 And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again. And they were exceeding sorry.
and we can trust His Word, because the Gospel was before the Quaran and God's Word can not be changed.
One wonders why Muhammad would say such thing despite the emphasis in all four Gospels. The answer lies in the group of Nestorian Christians who populated the Damascus and Northern Arabia during time of Muhammad. These Christians thought that it would be impossible to kill the Son of God and believed that god tricked the Jews and sent someone else who looked like Jesus to be crucified, thus he saved his favorite Son. This is the source of the verses of Quran.
According to the gospel accounts, Jesus went through six different trials before He was condemned to die on a cross. Three of the trials were before Gentiles and three were before the Jews. He was repeatedly put before people to be tried and the whole time He was under heavy guard. They knew who Jesus was. So, this excludes the possibility of mistaken identity. Furthermore, it is highly unlikely that the Romans would have crucified a man by mistake. Remember, Jesus had been performing many miracles and was quite well known in the area. Since the Roman soldiers had Him in their possession during the trials, during the beatings, and finally on the way to the cross, the most logical conclusion is that they did not make a mistake and crucified someone else instead of Jesus. Therefore, we can logically conclude that Jesus really did die on a cross.

You've almost got it, but in the Quran it doesn't say that someone who looked like Jesus took his place on the cross. This is a theory, some say that it could have been Judas.
Let's look at verse 4:156-159 "That they rejected Faith; That they uttered against Mary A grave false charge;
That they said (in boast): 'We killed Christ Jesus The son of Mary, The Messenger of Allah.' But they killed him not, Nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjunction to follow, for of a surety they killed him not.
Nay, Allah raised him up Unto Himself; and Allah Is Exalted in Power, Wise. And there is none of the people of the book (Jews and Christians) But must believe in him (Jesus) Before his death; And on the Day of Judgment He (Jesus) will be a witness Against them."

The Quran: Chapter Women:157-159.
As depicted by Mel Gibson, in 'The Passion of Christ' during the night when Jesus was raided by the Romans, how sure were they that it was the Messiah that was actually captured because: a. They didn't even know which one is Jesus since everybody answered the Roman.
b. It was dark and everybody somehow looked the same.
c. The fact that Jesus and the disciples had just arrived in Jerusalem for a few days. Was it possible that they get a correct ID?
Just a thought.

Nobody knows for sure. You may pick the version you like best and run with it or you may be honest and admit you don't really know.
Islam and Christianity both think they are sole proprietors of truth but the track record of each suggests otherwise.
