I haven't talked to or seen this particular ex girlfriend of mine for over 1 1/2 years other than seein her in a car when I went to buy a pack of cigarettes the other day. Before and when we were going out she said that no matter what happens in time we should stay friends and keep in contact if we ever get together and break up. I still remember her number. Is it too late to try being friends again?

Why did u stop calling her?? I mean....you were not gf and bf anymore, but, did u separate bad? If you didnt ...........why didnt you call her b4?? Anyways.....i think that never is late to restart a good friendship.....if really is that what you are looking for.
You can try to call her..........and according with her reaction, you'll know if she is happy or not talking with you again.
There is nothing worst than the things we dont do. If you dont call her, you'll be for long time asking yourself what would happen if you would called her. so........go ahead.........and good luck

If it has been 1 1/2 years, how much has changed in the situation is she with someone else? The reason you broke up resolved or is it not important anymore. If all these things are worked out in your mind, then go for it maybe you both have matured and now is the right time to build that lasting relationship. God bless and start the New Year in Love again.

I'd say forget it and move on. One and a half years is a long time to not have had any contact and then suddenly call out of the blue.........she's got a new life now and so have you. Focus on the future and not the past.

You've done ok so far without her in your life and she hasn't exactly made too much effort with you, am I right?

Dude, If you want a serious answer you need to supply more info. Did your relationship come to a peaceful end? It's always important to be a friend. But if all you want to do is get your willy wet. Just do that, Be her friend if you want, but I know all you want to do is bone her. So yeah, hold on to the number and call her when you all drunk then hit it n' quit it! If she lied too you in anyway, hump and dump! Adios Bro!

wen u become friends again,no doubt u will b tempted to get back together again n this will only serve to bring more conflicts n in the end u will b ex`s again.
do u want to live in a cycle of events that get u nowhere?

It is never too late to restart. However, please find out the reason for your 1st break up as you will not want to have a new start and then break up again, right ? Fix your problem 1st before starting.

It's never too late. Pick up the phone and call her. Tell her that you were thinking about her and decided to call her and see how she is doing.
