Sounds good to me, to some degree. The muslims say Allah, is also the God of the christians, I believe, by a different name. Still God. Jews, differ in that they don't believe Jesus was the promised Messiah. All that said, I wouldn't mind the Ten Commandments being kept around, and put back up where it was taken down. I would love to see bible studies at lunch time, if the kids want it, like when I was young. I would like to see a high school principle say its not ok for there to be a gay club, and not get in huge trouble for it, and kids get shot, like in California where I used to live. For heaven's sake, bring God back to schools, and let my little boy have his Christmas party, not a winter party! Not a bad idea.

Religion is a faith and does not belong in schools, which are places of learning. And you cannot learn faith.
Learning about religion in schools would reduce the time available for gaining knowledge.
Surely there is plenty of time on Sundays for learning about religion or is this just another attempt to brainwash children while they are still young and impressionable?
By all means be united in your religion but leave my kids alone.

They all make better sense combined, but THAT is ultimately up to the individual parents. I treasure my own curious meanderings through different philosophies and resent anything spoon fed to me.
