Oh, yes, they really can. However, their reasons why may not always be so good. There are those with good reasons, but there are also those with very, very bad reasons.
If a guy gets interested in a girl he knows, realistically, is going to evoke laughter in his buddies if he presents her as "his girl," he may decide it is better for both of them if he helps her get firmed up and toned up. He knows, for example, that good exercise and keeping her too busy to snack will be good for her. So he spends some real quality time getting close to her, helping her find things she can enjoy without having to resort to munching, and helps her to eat healthy when they eat together.
Some guys are loner enough that whether or not anyone else approves of his taste in women, he personally prefers girls who are not hung up on dieting and pretty clothes, but rather very sensuous. And this can be a good thing or a bad thing, for either of them.
But there are also guys who want overweight girls because they know they are insecure and hungry for attention and affection, and reassurance that they are seen as female and desirable. They learn how to manipulate such girls by indulging them in sugar and fried foods, discouraging any interest in healthy exercise, and often getting them hooked on amphetamines as a way to make them more and more dependent.
So into any relationship with your eyes open, right? And work on doing the best you can to get in shape with diet and exercise, without going to neurotic extremes.
Let one of those wise knights (often somewhat older than yourself) find you and make being active pleasant. Let him offer you quality food so you don't feel bad about not getting quantity. Let him show you that being a healthy body for the Goddess of Love to inhabit can be worth your time and energy.

Some are. When I was still in high school there was a super skinny real muscular guy that looked like he could get all the hot skinny girls. For some reason he picked a big blimp. I mean real big! More bounce to the ounce I guess!

Many things can happen in a relationship. Yes, hot guy can fall for overweight girls and vice versa.

I think it may just depend on what the guy likes, but it also plays a part on just how overweight were talking. Morbidly obese, probably not, obese, probably not, somewhat obese, maybe, but say chunky or thick, probably the best bet. Not bragging here but I'm a good looking guy and I prefer to be with thick or somewhat bigger women. Nothing over 200 though, skinny women just aren't fun.

Most definitely. I have a good friend who is overweight, & she has hot guys going after her all the time. She is good-looking & has a vibrant personality, so I think the weight issue becomes a non-issue.
If a guy, hot or not, cannot get past the weight then he is not worth your time anyway.

The problem with "hot" guys is that they "know" they're hot, and that many times prevents them from dating someone who is labeled by others as "overweight" or "fat" or even just "plain".
Yes, of course they can be interested!! Unfortunately, peer pressure often rears it's ugly head and the guy is convinced that he doesn't want or need someone who isn't labeled by others as "perfect"....
Good luck to you. Forget about hot guys, go for a nice guy...one that can make you laugh (and who isn't bad looking). You'll be glad you did.

It actually depends on the guy and what their taste in a woman is. Do like them skinny or overweight? Short or tall? Just keep in mind that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. One man's dog is another man's babe.

No I refuse to date girls who weigh 5 lbs more than me. I'm sure they have a great personality and all but I will not date them.
There, see how unkind that sounds? That's how 99% of girls talk about short guys and how they won't date guys shorter than them.

To be honest there are a select few men with an odd fetish for a large woman... however a good looking guy rarely to never settles down with one do to the embarrassment they would feel showing her to friends and introducing her to family...

Some guys can be, but if they are so hot, chances are they are also full of themselves and they'll want "eye candy" to strut around with. And that means the girl will also need to be hot.
