don't. You need time to grieve the loss. Also, a woman who's body language screams, "I don't need a man" is dead sexy and oh so attractive, make the decision (and mean it!) to stay single - the men will come rolling in.

good luck, x

The best way to get back into the dating hunt after breaking up is get out more and make yourself available. Socialize and network. Maybe you know a few friends who know men who might interest you. In time you will meet men and they will ask you out. Maybe you should try something different and ask one out. What can hurt? LOL

Look, breaking up is not a very pleasant thing to do. Especially if you have any time invested in the previous relationship. Over time the wounds will heal.

The first step is actually to give yourself time and space to heal. You cannot heal the hurts from one relationship by rushing into another--all you do is carry unnecessary baggage into the new relationship. It isn't fair to you or to the new partner.
That timeframe varies for different people and no one can answer that part of the question for you, but you will know when you are no longer terrified of being hurt again...then you are ready.

You really shouldn't be on the "hunt" as you need some time for yourself to heal. You must love yourself and be whole within yourself before attaching to another. You are not a whole person at this point since it seems to me that part of you is still with, "the man you love." Take your time, he'll come, be patient.

I believe it's best not to look for it and to instead go about your life. Start doing things you enjoy doing and spending time with your family and friends, having a lot of fun. That's when you'll be in the best state of mind to meet someone who will be a good partner for life. Good luck.

i think the first thing u have to do is be ready to start dating again.in your own mind not by others around u constantly telling u to move on and get on with your life(my present situation too)Just dont be in any great rush coz that could lead to further heart break

I noticed that you said 'the man you love' not 'the man you loved'. I can see a lot of pain for you.
