I have taken the allergy shots for over 10yrs. they helped but I am still having problems. I am thinking about going to the Dr. and asking for a shot. I just don't know what the name of the shot is. I don't want to try the advair or rescue inhaler. I have already done that.It doesn't help that much.

There are steroid shots you can get that last about a month to help get you through the worst of the season.

My doctor gave me one, and it did help with the allergies, but I'm not sure I like the idea of getting a steroid shot every year.

This is a good question to take to a specialist. Allergy shots have fallen out of favor and not as many people are getting them these days.
If you have asthma on top of allergies, it is important that the 2 be controlled well because allergies aggravate asthma. The rescue inhaler is a good thing to help you breathe if you have trouble. Advair is a wonderful part of an organized treatment plan.

My brother is an asthmatic and after ten years his asthma has shown no sign of improving. He has been to several doctors but they didn't help much.

If you want a proven, all-natural way to cure your asthma, without having to pay for useless medications with harmful side-effects, then this is the most important page you'll ever read.

There are many inhalers out there for asthma, plus you can get a breathing machine for albuterol like they give you in the hospital. Some inhalers have steroids in them to help improve your lungs. If your not happy with your progress you need to keep telling your Dr. till you find the right medications. I have asthma, and there aren't any shots to cure it. There is one they give you when you have a serious attack, but that doesn't last that long, and it isn't something you can get to give to yourself.

Interestingly enough when I started getting flu shots it eliminated my sinus problems and I haven't had a cold in 6 years.

Give this a try and see if it helps.
