There are lots of places you can get car stereos these days! One of the best places I've found to shop is at crutchfield.com. They provide an extensive amount of information about the different features of radios, and also has user reviews (from people who actually know what they're talking about) which provide good feedback about stuff you don't see in the specs. Plus they'll tell you what fits in your car, and they also give you some other accessories like free installation kits and wire harnesses for most cars.
Personally, I like to shop at Crutchfield and then go to eBay to compare prices. Although you don't get the free accessories on eBay, you can get a heck of a discount. I would suggest this only if you have experience installing head units, as you don't get any technical support like you do from Crutchfield.

i would either get a Pioneer Premier, or a Kenwood Execlon. Or hell, even a eclipse. however, dont buy one from Best Buy or Circut City. they sell the lower end of everyones products. if you want quality, then go to a private shop, the sells Premier and Excelon

I think ALPINE has the ultimate range of music system however they are costly sets . Within the budget ie Rs 8000 to 12000 , KEWOOD n PIONEER brands are the good ones .

i suggest u can try out the jbl or kenwood but in india pioneer or sony are the most sold ones...
