No one can make you believe in God. Faith is something you choose to believe in. Take some time and look around at all the wonderful things. Look at all the things that can't be explained.
True, that things should have an explanation. But I personally don't think everything does.
I have honestly say that I believe in God, but whether the catholic church hides a couple of details, is a different story. Try meditating and if you feel good inside than that's God's warmth.

You can't believe in the presence of god but only in the presence of the living God with a capital "G". The Great I Am, The Alpha and Omega. When He makes His presence known, you will know it. We know it because we can feel His love. He is love so that's the main essence of His presence and because of how God's presence makes one feel. It's not this dry formal ritualistic stuff but it's the real deal. You must believe that God is and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him and when a person gives their heart to Jesus, there's always a feeling and a presence there to witness in your heart the confession made with the mouth from the heart. Try it! I can't wait to live in God's presence for always as His spirit always helps my infirmaties and lifts me up above the shadows in this world. That's why we are instructed to walk in the spirit.

Who do we think we are? Demanding proof. Is it so hard to just have faith? Must science abolish our spirituality? There our scientific theories, yes "theories" that are more respected then the "idea" of God. Well, to each their own, but God is everywhere. Believing every thing "unproven" to be untrue, will rob us of hope.
Have faith, do you have a soul? Can you honestly close your eyes and imagine yourself forever gone? There is life after death, and there is a God.
Next time we view a beautiful sunset, or sunrise, should we thank the banging one in a billionth chance it's there, or how about thanking God?

Nothing will happen with god present nearby what really means is what you do and how good a person you are because god helps them who help themselves.
