Oh man, you too? I don't meet many other people that like white noise when they sleep. For me, a fan is always good, I have an air purifyer in my room that is working nicely, and I used to have a sound machine with the sound of running water that I really liked for sleeping...I think I still have it somewhere...........

I use sounds of nature - animals and weather, It is so relaxing and soothing, and it calms you to the point you kinda stop thinking all together, which is the whole point, and you get such a relaxed sleep, something i never got before i started using this method... Something else that worked for a while was classical music, but it may not work for long, as for me, after a while i started thinking into the thoughts on perception of the song and what not... Hope this helps, Best wishes.

Get a tape of the sounds of rain, a babbling brook or the ocean.
