I will stay up to answers all your questions God willing. (its 5:39 am lol EST) but no no where does it say you must convert or be killed. This is some of the lies, that people who do not understand Islam perpetuate (including the terrorists)
No Compulsion in Religion
Allah said,
[لاَ إِكْرَاهَ فِى الدِّينِ]
(There is no compulsion in religion), meaning, "Do not force anyone to become Muslim, for Islam is plain and clear, and its proofs and evidence are plain and clear. Therefore, there is no need to force anyone to embrace Islam. Rather, whoever Allah directs to Islam, opens his heart for it and enlightens his mind, will embrace Islam with certainty. Whoever Allah blinds his heart and seals his hearing and sight, then he will not benefit from being forced to embrace Islam.''
The people will take verses about fighting out of context and not bother to read the scholars explanations that fighting it only allowed when you defending yourself, and that you cannot transgress certain limits.
May God guide you to the straight path
Peace be unto you

Unique features of the Holy Qur’an
1) Revealed in Arabic - The Qur’an was revealed in Arabic. Arabic is still a living language spoken by more than 200 million people around the world. Most of the other languages of scriptures like Aramaic, Greek, Sanskrit, etc are either dead, hardly used as a tongue or pushed to some corner of university studies. Arabic has survived in the same form miraculously for more than 1400 years. A language undergoes dramatic changes every 400 years. For e.g English during Shakespearean times was completely different from the way it is spoken today. That was just 300 years back, but Arabic has survived for a much longer period.
2) Free from Inconsistencies – The Qur’an is the only religious scripture in the world that is completely free from both external and internal Inconsistency. All the religious scriptures whose followers claim to be revealed from God suffer from inconsistencies and contradictions.
3) Compatible with Modern Science – The Qur’an is the only religious scripture in the world that is completely compatible with modern established scientific facts. Most of the scientific facts mentioned in the Qur’an, which was revealed more than 1400 years have been discovered by man only in the past 100 years.
4) Prophecies – All prophecies that are mentioned in the Qur’an have come to pass as exactly described in the Qur’an.
5) Memorization – Atleast a million people around the world have memorized The Qur’an cover to cover in its original language, most of whose native tongue is not even Arabic. There is no scripture in this world that can make such a claim. Most people who have memorized a few chapters in their holy scripture do so in a language that is not the Original language of the scripture.
6) One Version – The Qur’an has been preserved in its original complete form since it was completely revealed without even a full stop moving from its place. This is a unique miraculous feature of the Qur’an, made more amazing by the fact that God in the Qur’an promises to guard it from corruption and even after 1400 years it is exactly preserved as the way it was before. Most other scriptures have been altered over time.
7) Revelation – The Qur’an’s revelation history has been recorded and preserved more or less accurately by historians. The history contains the time of revelation, place of revelation and the situation during which the chapters were revealed and other such data. Most of the scriptures that claim to be revealed don’t have the recorded history of how and when the scripture and its chapters were revealed. The followers of such scriptures blindly claim it to be from God only on faith.
8) Chronology – The ordering of the chapters in the Qur'an do not correspond to the chronology of the revelations as received by the Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) i.e. the first chapter in the Qur'an is not the first revelation that the Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) received and this is further proof (for people of intellect) of the fact that the Qur'an is not written by man.
The basic question that needs to be raised here despite the very attractive evidence presented by the scholars and writers from the field of science, is : If a scientific fact which is held to be valid, since it presents the latest result of scientific research, is in agreement with the Qur'an today and if one is convinced solely by this argument of the heavenly origin of the Qur'an, what will be one's attitude, when or if, after more intensive research, they very same scientific fact is seen in a new light and perhaps differs from what one previously accepted as the Qur'an's position on the matter?
Should this discrepancy then convince us of the human origin of the Qur'an, and so refute its heavenly origin? In other words, until very recently, very many scientific facts were in utter disagreement with today's scientific truths - and if today's scientific truths are in agreement with the Qur'an, this means perhaps a few decades or a century ago no believer in science could have been convinced of the heavenly origin of the Qur'an. Similarly, a few decades or a century from now, science, which is after all the human perspective on the true nature of things, might describe its findings entirely differently from the way it presents its 'truths' today.
Science or scientific truths, therefore, cannot be generally accepted as criteria for the genuineness or non-human origin of the Qur'an, although at this point in time there are perhaps many good examples to be cited for the concordance between science and the Qur'an on certain questions. However, the Qur'an is a book of guidance for mankind and not a book of science nor a mine of cryptic notes on scientific facts.
Muslims believe the Qur'an to be guidance from Allah, while science is a human endeavour and we believe the Qur'an to be guidance from Allah under any circumstances irrespective of whether science, which changes continuously, seems to be in support of it or not.

The Holy Qur'an is not a prophecy book sister. It is a word of God.
It is a book to guide us how we live in this world.
It is a book telling us of our purposes here on earth, and what happen when we die.
It is a book with past history as a lesson for us.
It is a book to complete what has been sent to us before by the previous messenger from Adam(p) till Jesus(p).
And seriously, there is no "by faith or by force" nature in Islam.

There is no faith by force:
Let there be no compulsion in religion. Truth has been made clear from error: whoever rejects evil and believes in God hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And God heareth and knoweth all things.
Quran, Al-Baqarah Chapter 2 Verse 256
On Prophecies try this site:

But there are Prophacies in other Books of Allah (i.e the Bible) also.

No the Quran says there is no compulsion in religion.
The Quran also says that they have their religion and you have yours, which basically means ;to agree to disagree.
The Prophet (PBUH)said dont fight those except in self defense;
he also said that you cant even cut down a tree without a legitimate excuse.
The Quran says that if you kill one innocent person that it is as if you killed all humanity..
And if you save one person its as if you saved all humanity.
I hope this helps.Peace
