No he was not. He felt sorry for her, and casted 7 demons out of her as she was demon posessed. When Jesus rose again, Mary was at the tomb, and she thought that Jesus was the gardener as she could not reconise him. As soon as he said her name she reconised him and said "Teacher". Where she saw Christ thinking it was the gardener, she asked him "If you have seen my Lord, can you tell me where you have laid him"? Her Lord, nothing else. At the cross, Jesus was worried about his mother and asked John to take care of her. Jesus came to to the will of his Father, which was to preach the gospel, teach about the kingdom of God, raise the dead, heal the sick, cast out demons, and to die for our sins on the cross at Calvay. On the cross, he said "It is finished" Which means he has finished his Fathers work. He was not interested in other women, he came to do the will of his Father and completed it. Now he sits at the right hand side of the almighty God interceeding for us. How amaizing is that? It is unreal..

i believe there is enough clues and hints in the bible that suggest this. However being politically correct YOU MUST believe jesus was poor immigrant worker that never knew a wife, or the passions of youth.
I believe jesus had to go through hormone changes i believe he got married too. I believe jesus was about 42 or 43 when he died. well maybe 41. but it all, makes a difference, ONLY if you can prove it, and thereby proving how much the historic gospel was changed in traditional bible based churches.

Mary Magdalene, or Mary of Magdala, was a woman who had been possessed by seven devils. He was also a former prostitute. Bible scholars who think and believe so are not Bible scholars at all. If Jesus had a wife or lover, then He is a liar and a sinner.This kind of smear campaign is the trade mark of the enemy of truth, which is the devil himself.

According to one of the early scriptures (that had been banned) written by the early nostics, Jesus Christ kissed Mary Magdalene on the lips. But that story is not enought to tell that Jesus and Mary Magdelene was actually married. It was just an idea of a human mind that immediately jump into this conclusion.

I don't dis-believe. This notion is backed up in the Gnostic gospels from the Nag Hammadi books. Besides, Jesus was a Jew, and would have been seen in an unfavorable way had he not been married. If you want the truth though, you need to look beyond the work of Dan Brown.

Did you watch the movie The Da vinci Code? because it show a picture of the Last Supper if you switch one of the people nexts to Jesus it looks like a woman could be almost touching jesus hand and if you move this person again it shows this person leaning angainst jesus. Could this be Mary Magdalene? she wash his feet and follow him around and jesus was friends with her so why couldnt he love her but I dont believe he would ever marry her.

Hello =)

I think it certainly is a possibility, but it is not a profitable question...meaning...the answer to it would be irrelevant.

Something which is more relevant, however, is, why she is not widely accepted as an apostle, even though she truly fit the definition, and even wrote a gospel. She even appears in the paintings of the last supper, usually.....

And Christ, himself, was anti-sexist, even though the Jews of the time were sexist. So.....why is she still left outside of the embrace of the church??

It's all academic to me, anyway.....I'm a Buddhist, but a scholar, nonetheless.

Namaste, and Happy New Year,

--Tom

Mary Magdalene could be Jesus's wife, but I doubt it. She most probably became one of Jesus's disciples.

Seems possible-I believe Jesus being married with children is par for the course in the LDS tradition.

No. Jesus was openly gay and enjoyed it. At that time, no one cared.
Today some people suffer from homophobia so "bible scholars" leak those funy rumors to try to deny his lifestyle.
