Jesus said "If you ...give good gifts to your son when he asks, how much more will God give the Holy Spirit to those that ask".

So, ask and when He is offered, accept. It only takes faith in Him and a willingness to accept.

I think that such a goal is admirable, but, make sure you know what the Holy Spirit truly is, before you go about acquiring it.

The Holy Spirit would never be judgmental, uncompassionate, vindictive, hateful, or superior.

The Holy Spirit, would be tolerance, love, acceptance of one's fellow man, compassion, charity, forgiveness....and if you manage to achieve those things, then yes, you will lead a successful life.

I like the one of the holy spirit being tolerant. As i recall it the holy spirit judged annisas and his wife to death because they lied to him. The Holy Spirit has not changed at all. So Get really folks becasue he is Coming back real soon in a hard way to the body of Christ.

To get the Holy Spirit oby the commandments of God and develope a real relatonship with God and then ask Jesus for him.

i think to get holy spirit u need to truly belive dat jesus ws da only son of god who died 4 our sins so dat v cn get eternal life.bt y do u wnt it?do u realy knw wat dos itt mean to get a holy spirit? first fin out dat? to lead a successful is nt easy. iwould like to say dat bliv in god truly n ask him watevr u wnt in jesus name wid a pure heart n he will ntt deny it.
