I'm exactly were you are, and even though it kinda sucks, yeah, better to hold off. But when you think about it, relationships suck when your insecure so in reality you're saving yourself a lot of heart ache and problems. And any crap relationships you have now may effect how you see people in the future, so when you find a great guy you might not see it. And, on your own you'll be able to work through things a lot quicker.

I believe you have answered your own question. If you know that your insecure then you are on a good start to determine why you are and what you can do about it, starting a relationship is not a good idea. your insecurity will most definitely effect the relationship and cause your partner undo pain (why put someone threw that?)
to be in a relationship there must be honesty, respect, and caring
and just thinking about starting one knowing that you are insecure let's me know that you are not being honest, lack respect and caring for the individual you want to start a relationship with. WAIT until you are complete dont use a relationship to complete you. deal with you insecurities first, then you'll be able to choose, start and have a healthy, successful, relationship. (your partner will love u for it)

i'm VERY insecure, and i have a boyfriend right now. it does make things difficult, because i tend to get jealous about anything with other girls. :/ in a way, having a boyfriend is good because he reassures me that i'm better than i think i am and everything, but its also hard. if you find a guy that will accept your insecurities and be patient enough to help you feel more secure, then it might be good for you. i found a guy like this, but trust me it's hard. on both of us.
if you think you can manage your insecurities and in time get over them, then it might be best to wait. those feelings can cause a lot of problems if you're in a relationship. but it depends on if you think you'll ever get over them. it's normal for everyone to have a few insecurities, though.

WAIT. You dont need a man you need a life. And it worth so much more than any man you could meet. Friends, hobbies you like, knowing yourself backwards and forwards allows the most secure man to be a part of your life. Not an equally insecure being.

I would suggest that she holds off until she's "complete" otherwise she won't be able to be herself in the relationship. It's to tiring to pretend you're something that your not...

Smart girl. You are not as "incomplete" as you think. Yes, feeling good about yourself, attracts you to better people. Insecurity, attracts the users and abusers to you.
