If you aren't hydrating, you are dehydrating. How long before the effects become noticable depends on the person and what else they are doing. Your body can get used to being dehydrated so some people live in a constant state of dehydration. In extreme cases it'll kill you in about 3 days.

Depends on ambient temperature, and activity level. If your talking, walking throught the desert, 2.5 to 3 days max. You no doubt would have collaped and gone unconsious long before you die though. If you are in a moderate climate doing limited physical activity, then about 3-5 days. Sitting in air conditioned space doing absolutely nothing, 5-7days. But before you died you would suffer...alot. Servere migraine headaches first, followed by servere muscle and joint cramps, abdominal pain. Then the real shi*ty stuff starts to happen. Throat becomes very dry and raw, difficulty in swallowing, tongue swells up, leading to possible asphixiation, rapid weight loss, eyes sink back into your head, lips, scalp, and creased skin, cracks and bleeds, you are in constant pain throughout this entire process, eventually you will fall asleep and slip into coma, as your organs shut down one by one, then.....you die! Not pleasent.
