My neighbors also accused my dog of doing business on their lawn. I flat out told them it wasn't my dog, and that I would be willing to take a sample of her poo and the offending poo to a laboratory for analysis, to prove it was not her poo, at my expense. They declined.

When I walk my dog, with baggies in hand, I never walk past the hallowed grounds of the accusing neighbor's lawn or sidewalk.

There is no way to persuade people who have set their minds that your dog is the offender.

I simply continue to walk my dog, with obvious curbing materials in hand, and stay away from their lawn, so there is NO QUESTION that it is NOT my dog who is the Phantom Pooer.

When you walk your dog carry a plastic bag for the poo, not only will the area be cleaner by one or two poos a day but you will be seen as a responsible owner. It is not the dog's fault for our fouled pavements. There are at least 21 diseases carried in dog poo that are human communicable. Hope this helps. God Bless

I had to answer this, the poor little lad getting all the blame and he isnt the pooper, what you
want to do is, take a bag or a pooper-scooper
with you on your walk and let people see it and
if they say anything push it under there nose,
that should wake them up,happy new year.

Tricky. Other than behaving like an upright member of society, and cleaning up after your own dog, there is not much that can be done.

Tell them to get a life, if dog poo is their biggest problem than their lucky.
