The pictures dimension on art's books are the real dimension of the canvas or of the canvas framed?

I like copy the master pieces and I would like to reproduce the picture with the real dimension . Thank you.

It is the dimension of the canvas . I often think the size should be stated more clearly as on one page one has a 6 x6 metre picture and on the next a 20 x20 cm and of course in the book they are the sam esize
