My tooth hurts and I don't have any oragel. Is there any kind of tea or somthing like that? I might have tylenol, but if I don't, what kind of home remidies are there? It's late at night and I can't go anywhere and I can't go to the dentist.

I have the same problem RIGHT now!
Try putting a heating pad on your cheak - that's what i'm doing, and it seems to work.
Before, I would try to put Ice on it... not a good idea! It just made it worse for me.
But go see a Dentist soon before it gets worse. I havn't been to a dentist in over 5 years and my back teeth are terrible!
(No insurance, and not enough money.)

I have 2 children and 1 on the way. The absolute worst pain I've ever been in was when I had nerve pain due to a horrible toothache. No joke. A normal toothache, no big deal but I don't think anything could be worse than nerve pain. ETA: I've never gone through labor without an epidural so I can't compare those 2.

Clove has a very good soothing effect on teeth. Your gum must be inflamed so avoid irritating it with anything.

You can use these drugs: Profen, Cataflam, Ponestan,Panadol. They're good pain killer in cases of tooth pain.

You must see a dentist a.s.a.p because this could be a reversible pulp inflammation which can be treated. If it's irreversible "which cause severe pain at night", then it needs root canal therapy.

Good luck

Drink hot tea for some temporary relief...
If you're having trouble sleeping because of it, take an OTC painkiller like Motrin...
