It is taught as SECOND LANGUAGE as per the order of Government of Andhra Pradesh.
I had my education from a ENGLISH MEDIUM school, that means all our subjects are taught in English, instead of Telugu or any other Indian Language, Some schools in Andhra has URDU medium of education so and so forth.

Anoo, Its widely used and is the defualt official language in the state. Most schools also encourage English, unfortunatelty not Telugu.

its not very useful here. except in hyd and vizag, won't find too many people who speak it. and its pointless on the roads, no one knows anything but telugu and toota-phoota-hindi
