I agree. It's like God is holding a gun to your head - hey it's free-will afterall. It's your choice to like...BURN IN HELL or fall on your knees and worship my son who I forced to die on the cross and be tortured. IMO it was all just made up in a time when people didn't understand the harsh forces of nature and attributed all this to a cruel bloodthirsty supernatural being. Their lives were so fragile and medicine was poor, so they lived in fear of God, and thought they had to appease this force which was killing them off at a whim. So they decided to make up a story about a humangod, having the human ability to have empathy, to make the ultimate sacrifice to please God's desire for flesh. And their fear of not existing in a better world in the hereafter led them to create comforting little stories about going to heaven and such.

"It's no invention or an imaginary thing. Hell is real and unless you believe thats where unbelievers go"
You think this guy was being ironic or sarcastic or something? Ye gods I hope so. Otherwise, I have to start losing my faith in humankind.
You're right. Hell was a terribly invention. It makes me think that even if I did believe in god, I could never subscribe to any of their dogma and scripture. Fear is a terrible reason to believe in something.

finally somebody else with comparable perspectives to my very own...... I firmly have faith that faith is the evil entrapment of people finding for some form of reassurance in a international of doubt. no longer something greater and not something much less. some sensible Alec desperate to regulate and rule and did so by utilising advertising a narrative. and individuals offered into it, simply by fact they mandatory and wanted to have faith in something....something. faith breeds undesirable discrimination, doubt and cruelty interior the call of a 'God'. rubbish, what God, if there have been this sort of element, might ask every physique to kill yet another? If there truly is a God acceptable now, he's cringing on the hypocrisy and cruelty of guy....and all in his call.

first of all we have to know that god is love“.(.1 John 4:16)and he will not do anything wicked..(job 34:10).....and will he ever allow such forever torment in his heart.(jeremiah 7:31)..so the question is what is hell in the bible?.is it symbolic for destruction or it means grave? in revelation 20:14 it says hell is cast into lake of fire..........can hell,if its a place of feiry hell be put to stop on a lake of fire?.......that verse hell was used to describe grave in connection to.............death .being no more........jude 7 also speaks of everlasting fire in sodom and gomorrah....which we dont see today in red sea.............and so...we shld understand that hell(hades/grave)is not a fiery place..........and i some verses its used to symbolize destruction.not a forever torment...........and besides.........would a life of sinful course of 70 or 80 yrs of age justify gods standard of justice by placing him on eternal fire.....?
