If it was someone I know and liked, then I'd tell them.
If I didn't know them I wouldn't tell them.
If it was someone I already had no respect for (ie don't like) I wouldn't tell them, but I'd tell everyone else, making sure there was alot of laughing and pointing involved! LOL

I think it would be more embarrassing to actually tell him "Hey, dude, I can see your ladies panties!". So just let him be. Probably those panties are there for a reason.

One could simply say to him, "Oh my goodness, you must have gotten dressed in the dark this morning and put on your wife's underwear by mistake. You might want to do a quick tuck job as they are visible to everyone."

I would want to be polite and not tell him.
I know I hate it if people would tell me something!
But I suppose, to save him the ridicule, I would politely say "excuse me" and quietly point it out. It's mean if you move to pull up his pants or loudly go "OMFG I CAN SEE YO PANTIES!!!!"
