to let my guy friend know how i feel about him? I am going to the movies with him tonight, we've been out a few times before as friends but this time i really want him to know how i feel but not enough to scare him away. Not like a kiss or anything, that would just be too much at the moment. I've known him a while now but we've never been like, affectionate towards eachother, but i just want to do something to let him know how i feel? Any suggestions?

You said you're going out to the movies ? Here are two suggestions to let him know or hint that you are developing deeper feelings for him . . .
~ ~ Take a piece of popcorn, make eye contact with him, express a smile to him with your eyes and mouth, then sweetly, nicely, tenderly place the piece of popcorn to his lips then mouth, continue smileing at him, then look away, still smiling and return to watching the movie.
. . . . .If feeling bold, sweetly kiss the piece of popcorn before feeding that one piece to him.

~ ~ Look at him sweetly with a lingering soft expressive smile and then bring the back of your index finger to his cheek and gently, softly graze your finder slowly over his cheek just for two moments while looking into his eyes, then remove your finger, still gazing at him and express to him " I like you ".
These are not empty, fake " moves ", they are (for me anyway) ways I naturally express when I'm in the company of a guy I have developing feelings for.
By the way. . . those moments for me are extremely rare and I've found that I don't feed a guy unless I have a nice 'wonder' of him.
Find what 'awakens' in you to be natural and express that. If it's not natural to you. . . it won't be the same.

When the time is right, just be open with him. If he can't take it, either he wasn't ready to hear it, or he didn't think of the relationship that way.
But either way, it'll get him to think about the relationship.

I think maybe you could just talk to him and then tell him if he likes you then he will tell you if he doesn't then he either he is shy or he likes someone else so just tell him he will tell you how he feels if he feels like he can trust you

Tell him he looks sexy.
That will trigger the thought in his head and he will know you dont just see him as a friend.
