Not sure why this needs an explanation, and I suspect the question is mean spirited. But I'll give you answers nonetheless.
In ancient times, Jews ruled Judea. They built a trading empire, based on commerce which originated in Red Sea ports and India, and ended in Mediteranean countriries such as Greece and Rome. At this time Judaism was a nationality more than a religion, and the Jewish people often intermarried with locals in places where they traded. There were ancient populations of Jews in Ethiopia, India, and even China.
Roman merchants coveted this trade, while Roman emperors were wary of a strong empire on their eastern flank. Accordingly, they conquered Judea, and banished Jews from Jerusalem in 70 AD. Following a revolt in 135AD, the entire Jewish nation was crushed and placed in servitude throughout the Roman empire. Populations of Jewish slaves could be found all around southern Europe and northern Africa. Intermarriage and intermingling continued to be part of Jewish tradition as the nation dispersed.
With the Islamic conquests of the middle ages, African Jews found themselves confined to ghettos, and the population shrank tremendously. By the middle ages, Jews in Europe were also under tremendous pressure from bigotry and persecution. Beginning around the 12 century AD, Jews began migrating out of Europe and into places where they found less harsh treatment. At that time, the largest population centers were in Iraq, Iran, and Turkey. This eastward migration accelerated as the Spanish Inquisition forced Jews to flee Spain. Populations of Jews were also among the earliest settlers in the New World.
When the Ottoman empire began to collapse, many Jews ended up in Christian Eastern Europe, places we now know as Poland, Russia, Bulgaria and Romania.
As for whether they were white, black or purple in ancient times, I've left a few references for you to work through. Perhaps when you are better educated, you can reframe your question in a way that's less offensive.

I have also been curious about this. I know that there are different types of jews such as sephardim and ashkenazim. I have also wondered if jews are all descendents of an original group, or if judaism was brought to other, more distant genetic groups who adopted it and also carry judaism.
It is an interesting question, as shown by things like this:
"Although in the 11th century they comprised only 3% of the world's Jewish population, Ashkenazi Jews accounted for (at their highest) 92% of the world's Jews in 1931 and today make up approximately 80% of Jews worldwide.[5]".(1)

maximum Lebanese, Syrians and Palestinians look as White as Europeans, you may make a journey over there, it somewhat isn't any longer something like the steretypes you spot in video clips. So i do no longer understand what the subject is. Judaism isn't a race, that's a faith. The Tanakh(previous testomony) speaks of quite a few races and persons of non Hebrew backgrounds changing to Judaism. Cananites and Greeks are lots of the biggest to transform after Moses and Egyptians have been the biggest team after the Hebrews to transform to Judaism on Mount Sinai. Judaism surely did seek for converts or perhaps had missionaries for the duration of the Greek and Roman era. It replaced into after the exile that it replaced into extra to how that's immediately, by using fact it usualy meant dying in case you tries to transform people to Judaism decrease back then as Jews have been matters to different international locations. The Mizrahi Jews(Jews from the middleast) in particular look White, such by using fact the chief of the Shahs political social gathering who got here from Iraq. often Jews look like the individuals interior the country they stay in, a number of it has to do with conversion consistent with danger, yet you bypass to Israel and youll discover White looking Jews are the minority and Israel surely seems darker than the encompassing international locations different than for consistent with danger Egypt.

Some believe that most of the European Jews descend from Khazars ( the Khazars were a Central-Asian Turkic tribe, that partially converted to Judaism around 900 AD).

There have been books written about this story, which is called the 'Diaspora'.
Jews are a Semitic race, originally. Racially, Jews and Arabs are from the very similar stock; but diverged in the past 1500 years.
After Jerusalem was destroyed by the Romans in 80 AD, Jews moved in large numbers (many as slaves) into Europe. Over the centuries, they dispersed from Moscow to Ireland, Italy to Spain, but maintained their distinct culture.
As an oppressed minority in Christian Europe, they were often subject to pogroms (spasms of violent victimization) periodically, and during these lawless interludes, rape was common. But the children born of these violent acts were always fully accepted into the Jewish community, and they were raised by their mothers as Jews. (Jewish communities never compounded the misery of their assulted women with ostracisim).
Over dozens of generations, gradually, the gene pool of Jews living in Europe (now called Ashkanazi) came to resemble that of their Christian neighbors, although usually with more brown than blue eyes, and more dark than blond hair. Jews living in Africa or the Middle east, who's ancestors never lived in Europe, are still visibly semitic, and are called Sephardim.

Remember the Holocaust? Some did escape and decided to reside in Europe! It all has to do with moving around! And how they got to Europe was when the Diaspora happened!
