made nuclear weapons and if they though that might be going a little bit against the beat your swords into plough shears bible bit.
And one of them said to me,'Yeah, my Dad work there making nuclear war heads, but hey, he doen't use them!'
Okay now people tell me that the profits of these organisations go to 'helping the poor,' lol, and also that I should get my facts right before asking these questions. Well please explain how a nuclear war head is helping the poor. Is it like buy and believe our bibles or we will blow you to hell?
I think this is a fair question but thanx for the violation notices anyways.
Love and peace to all human kind!

A friend told me once that the Mormons owned a piece of Pepsi or Coke (can't remember which) but they themselves do not drink it because one of their rules were to not drink caffeine. Then the rule was later changed...that it was okay....It's about the MONEY for them.

On a side note: "The reason Mormonism is not Christian is because it denies one or more of the essential doctrines of Christianity. Of the essential doctrines (that there is only one God, Jesus is God in flesh, forgiveness of sins is by grace alone, and Jesus rose from the dead physically, the gospel being the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus), Mormonism denies three of them: how many gods there are, the person of Jesus, and His work of salvation."

You asked virtually the same question elsewhere, so I make no apology for giving virtually the same answer here -- not that you appear to be listening, but perhaps others will be forwarned of your deceitful antics.

The proper name of the company is Bell Helicopter. It's a publicly owned company, and therefore is required to file financial statements, listing who owns more than a small percentage of their stock. Bell Helicopter is largely owned by Textron, which is in turn largely owned by AXA Financial, a French concern. Nowhere in their filings is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints mentioned. “Bell Hugy” (sic) is not owned by the church.

I served as a missionary for my faith, and have been a faithful member since shortly after my sophomore year in college – which was some years ago. I’ve never heard any member – much less any missionary, utter anything that could be construed as a threat to “blow you to hell.”

To slander my faith so viciously, and then say “love and peace to all human kind” seems just a bit hypocritical to me. But then again, I am reminded that the Bible warns us against those who “bite with their teeth, and cry ‘peace’.”

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints does not "own" this company. There may be members of our church who may own stock in it or work there, but the Church does not own it. I don't understand why people think that the advancement of technology always means the worst. If it wasn't for our country having nuclear war heads, we would have our society destroyed by some of the tyrants of the world, broken up and have every move dictated to us. Even to the point that this forum would be gone.

Do some research and find the truth for yourself. The Catholic church owns drug companies and gun manufacturers all over the world. So do we blame them for drug addictions and automatic weapons on the streets? No. We need to quit blaming others and take responsibility for our individual actions and accept the consequences of those actions. Just like Sadam Hussein will pay for his with his life.

Yea, I have never heard of Bell Hugy either, but I also would like to know what you have against my church??? I still say you ought to get your facts straight before knock a religion. All countries are making nuclear war heads, so someone needs to do it. I don't know if my church does or not, but someone has to do it, or we will be one of the last countries and maybe the first to die.

We believe in God the Eternal Father and in his Son, Jesus Christ and in the Holy Ghost.
We believe that there are three personages in one Godhead.

You know I thought that we lived in the United States of America! I thought that religious freedom was a given here. I thought that religious prosecution was over. I would like for you to do some research and find out if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints really owns a company that no one has ever heard of. I would also like for you to do research on other religions and see what companies that they own. You really need to get your facts straight before you go accusing someone of something. You just might find your foot in your mouth because you did not do your research.
