Not having read a great deal on the Knights Templar I can only say that they built some really great buildings, and like other so called "secret societies" we may never know the full truth. I believe the great mysteries in life are partly what keeps a curious society such as ours always searching for answers to certain questions while discovering answers to others.

what i understand is that the templars were a group of people that started out as the disciples of john the baptist.
i think Jesus taught that we should give Man, all mankind, their freedom of agency to act and choose for themselves which way to live and act. If the templars were blessed by God it might mean they started out Good, with good intention and sincerity. but there were many Evil reports that are not Good.
What i do know of history teaches me that everything Good becomes corrupted except only a few things. All things that exist are shadows of shadows of shadows of truth. I dont think there is anything that is NOT corrupted in the world of politics or in Relgion.
