Hand it to Mark Twain to speak without political correctness.


The best parts of the bible are the poetry and the lessons of good morals. Everything else cannot be the word of God, indeed, some parts are just pure historical facts, whether changed and altered or not.
i think i agree with it too. but dont tell the pope! shhhh, he might decree that mark twain be an antiSaint.

Mark Twain was pretty smart. One of my friends is a direct descendant - his great, great grandson. He says I am more like Mark Twain than he is.
