To get tickets for Saturday Night Live, you enter a lottery that's held in August of every year - winners of that lottery are the ones who can request specific dates to attend a taping of SNL. The address is snltickets@nbc.com. Only one request per email address. You have to be at least 16 years old to attend a taping. If you have any questions, you can phone (212) 664-3056. If you've missed the lottery, you can try to get standby tickets - you get in line before 7am on the day of the taping - 30 Rockefeller Plaza under the NBC Studios marquee on the 50th Street Side. (Make sure they're not showing a rerun that day)

Either NBC.com or by snail

NBC
Saturday Night Live Tickets
30 Rockefeller Plaza
New York, NY 10112

Expect to wait about a year or so for tickets since the demand is high.

You COULD take a chance and show up at 30 Rock and be placed on standby in the event a ticketholder couldn't make it.

www.nbc.com has details. I looked into this a few years ago, and from what I remember, you have to go to Rockefeller Center/ NBC studios really early on the Saturday morning of the show and the tickets are given out first-come, first-serve. Good luck!
