I missed my shot a month and a half ago and I haven't made a new appointment. My nipples have been feeling really sore and I have been feeling really tired for no reason. I haven't taken a pregnancy test yet because I don't know if it is necessary. I always heard that it takes 18 months after you get off the shot to get pregnant. Is it possible that I could get pregnant this soon.

I was on Depo at one point for over year, and when I got off of it it took me another year to even have a period. So, chances are..until you start having a period again you won;t get pregnant because your body still 'thinks' it's pregnant from the depo. But take a test if you are worried. They are very accurate these days.

Well I was "off" my depo shot for less than 6 weeks when I fell pregnant with my first child - so yes, it is possible to fall pregnant that soon after coming off the shot. My cousin is also pregnant at the moment and was only off her shot for 3 weeks!
Best thing to do is go get a test to ease any concern.

Yes, you can get pregnant. It's not very likely that you would get pregnant in the first month after not getting the shot, but it is still possible. You should get back on birth control asap if that's your plan, but use other forms of protection in the mean time.

i replaced into on the shot for 3 years and as quickly as i finished taking it i grew to alter into pregnant in 11 months. My scientific expert advised me that it ought to take everywhere's from 4 months to a three hundred and sixty 5 days to alter into pregnant after quitting the shot. once you permit out your shot it extremely is due each and every 12 weeks it could shield you as much as fourteen weeks yet no longer than that. you ought to be pregnant. i could take a being pregnant attempt if i've got been you. something is accessible. good success

who ever told you that is full of S}-{it, any forms of birth control arn't 100% fullproof, i personally know 1 girl who got pregnant once with a condom, once on the shot, andi think 1 other time, but nothing was used....you can still get pregnant using the shot, it does lower your chance, but it doesn't eliminate it, ask your doctor he'll tell you, missing will increase it, and 1 more thing, my girl was on it, when she got off the shot, she gain'd waterweight, and most girls do, fight it quick, or you'll have it for a long time, but missing 1 shot does put your risk a lil higher, how much higher, who knows you may went from 98% down to 94%, but there's no real %'s for it

yes it is. Lady we worked with missed one time and was having her 8th child at 40. Take a test to make sure you are not. It could just be your body adjusting to the hormone change in your body. GL!
