ok. well, i got to prom with the guy not thinking anything was going to happen, but then i end up tripping all over the guy and now, simply put, i'm maddly in love with him. only thing is that he's a marine and i'm a sailor and we're separated almost constantly. and the time that we are both free, my parents are always on my back about how much they hate him and stuff. (so much that they once treatened to kick me out of the house. o.O) so yah. how do i deal with it? a lot of people have been telling me that once i finish bootcamp, i'll find some other buff navy dude to go after and forget all about him, but i just can't picture myself doing that. i feel so guilty too... cause he was so excited about moving in with me once he was out of the Corps but instead i up and joined the Navy. i love him... but i just don't know how i'm going to deal with being away from him for so long... help? :(

If you truly love him then you'll be able to wait. If not the fizzle will die and being separated will not be a problem anymore.

Timing is important in any situation... Only do the distance thing is you can handle it, and if it's enough
If it's bad timing for you guys to be together, than it's bad timing
No matter what the connection, if two people can't make it work, they can't make it work

I think you are making good decisions, you need to live your own life. If he is your soul mate than he will find his way back into your life. Don't worry about him you just worry about you and when the time is right you guys will be together.

if u truly love him..then theres nothing that is going to stop u 2 from being together not even the navy....if u love him ...stick with him and dont let go..u'll see it'll all be good
