Most likely one of the plane's two panes of glass is bullet-proof. I would guess it would be the outside one (for obvious reasons). I'm guessing the inside glass is not bullet proof since there is always a little hole bored through it (to relieve pressure difference with temperature change from altitude change) which would be a weak spot that would crack as soon as a bullet strikes the glass. If you were to fire a bullet at an airplane's windows, one would most likely break while the other one holds. Again, these are just assumptions.

I would not recommend trying this out in a real world environment....especially in the USA.

No, the short and sweet answer is no glass is bullet proof. The correct term is bullet resistant, and airplane glass doesn't make the grade there either.

Now for the good news, contrary to countless Hollywood scenes, a bullet fired through the glass while destroying the window will not suck anybody out the window or lead to a fiery crash.

i dont know..and since its 3:30 in the morning and I cant sleep, im gonna be an a$$ and correct your grammer instead of answering your question. The proper form should be:
1.Is an airplane's glass bullet proof?
Or better yet:
2. Are the windows on an airplane bullet proof.

An aircraft's windows aren't glass. They're plastic.

no. In fact its only bird resistant. At the right speed and angle a bird can break it.

I'm an aeronautical engineer, and I was working for an airline and actually they aren't.
