Feta cheese, Kalamata olives, red onion, good tomatoes when in season and a great Greek dressing...yum. You know what else is my favorite (I know you didn't ask for pasta recipes....) is angel hair pasta with a spicy marinara sauce topped with feta cheese and Kalamata olives. Sounds odd but It's my favorite. Simple and I could eat it several times a week. Bon Appetit!

Any vegetable you like will be good in a salad, but have you ever thought about fruit? Raisins on top of a green chef salad are delicious, and grapes and apples in chicken salad add a nice sweet crunch. Try manderin oranges and dried sweet cranberries with spinach, it's my favorite!
Happy Eating!

it cracks me up bc people thing salad and only think of lettuce. In my salads I put carrots, mushrooms, avocado, a sprinkle of almonds or walnuts and craisins, and a spoon or two of fat free cottage cheese for dressing. Sometimes I put tofu, chicken, or turkey too. YUM! spinach, walnut, and apple salads are really good too

I prefer veggies with texture and taste. My favorites are garbanzo beans, mushrooms, carrots, tomatoes, broccoli, jicama, cauliflower, corn, pickled beets, green onion, sliced cabbage and mandarin oranges.

Favorite dressing --a splash of lemon juice and/or balsamic vinegar.

well do u really wanna know others taste or u wanna some health conscious yet tasty salad recepies.well in my opinion if u try chopped -leafy vegetable like cabbage etc, papaya, carrot, and cucumber with black salt,a pinch of black pepper, soya sauce and vinegar or lemon juice.now ur healthy and tasty salad is ready to eat. And regarding dress i would like to say what ever one should wear ,it should be comfortable in all respect and which really touches one's own heat so that u urself feel like saying"wow this is what I AM-simply gorgeous"

right now I love toasted walnuts or pecans and craisins on lettuce with a raspberry vinaigrette - very simple but very, very tasty and popular
:)

I also love just lettuce with some balsamic vinegar

other things that I add are:
carrots, celery, cucumber, just about any berry or seed
but I never add onions or tomatoes
