It was like that with my boyfriend and I. We were a new couple, doing new things and learning new things about each other everyday. Now we are used to each other and we have done everything. We are still happy together, but the first months of the relationship are always the best....until you get engaged/married that is, then it's a whole new ballpark.

The first couple of months are always the best, i agree with the above, its the honey moon period and now its over. You dont have to spend time doing cute things and being on your best behavior to impress anymore, the real both of you comes out, and from there you have to learn how to deal with it, and you have a comfort zone with each other, you just have to determine if its worth the effort or find someone else and start all over again, its a cycle.

Becasue everyione is in their best behavior..and both make sure they look good, act good and try to impress..plus there is the anticipation of being with someone great or (the perfect person if you like)...and there is the game of dating..I love those few months..may be that's why once the honeymoon is over, i get bored :)...After a few months, the real personality and life's realities kick in and we find that that person is not as perfect as we thought s/he would be..that takes the excitement and fun away..I guess..

I'm approaching year 25 and this is the best. If it's real you get over the 'honeymoon' and find the real value in a relationship.

i know exactly how you feel, my man is not as nice to me and we've been together for 2 months, it seems that the guy enjoys getting to know a girl and gets excited but then gets bored real quick, i dunno if that goes for all men but i hate it when that happens.....yes its happened to me before. =)
