I heard somewhere that chocolate makes you feel in love, I think from the movie Willy Wonka! LOL. Is this true and if it is then why?

One person says it releases "endorphin" or whatever it is and one says it doesn't. Who is right?

The endorphins found in chocolate are the same endorphins you feel when you're in love....it gives you the same happy feeling.

chocolate releases the same chemicals that being love does and gives a feeling of contentment and happiness. i really don't think the chemical is endorphin though, because that's what your body releases in response to pain and chocolate doesn't hurt.

Well chocolate do make u fall in love.
but, for tht a person shud be a really nice and happy being...
It won't work on silly craps,short temper,flirts,etc..
People lik Romeo Juliet type will fall in love after tasting som
Coz to fall in love yor heart shud hav the ability to get mixed with the sweet chocolate..lol..

When I bit into the perfect truffle, I feel the blood rush to my head just like when my boyfriend gives me the sweetest, softest kiss known. My ears heat up, my eyes close and I am in another world. Yes, chocolate is love.
