The closest was Moses pbuh who went up the mountain and desired to see God but was unable to bear to see God. The Sufi mystics believe that the ultimate enlightenment brings one to see God but in their belief any one who does see God does not return back to mankind to narrate the experience. The Lord Buddha forbade people to spend time on trying to see God or to try and find out the form or working of God .
The short answer would be that no human is capable of seeing God.

while some people deny that Moses saw God face to face and they quote the scripture that says he only saw his back. I question the dual statements of each.
but I do know that abraham saw God and two angels came with HIM and abraham had his wife prepare a meal for them to eat. and the Jesus said that for those that overcome he gave a promise that God would come to them and the son would come too and eat dinner with HIM who is found worthy. Wow what a promise.
Throughout history there manuscripts that proclaim the visiting messiah coming to them. However it is very clearn that the FATHER DOES not appear to men of SIN.

I've seen a picture of Zeus. He was a god. You didn't specify which god now did you? If you meant the Christian god with a capital "G", you should have been more specific.

Moses is the only one who has seen God and did not die because of that. But the disciples have seen Jesus who said:
"If you have seen Me, you have seen My Father which is in heaven." So we can say that the disciples have seen God in human form.

Who has seen a black hole? Who has seen stars a billion light years away? Who has seen the molten core of the earth? Who saw the Ice age? You believe they are there, or were there, don't you?
Not to mention if you are a Christian you would have to say thousands of Jews and Romans 2000 years ago.

History of the Church

In the spring of 1820, a 14-year-old boy named Joseph Smith went into a grove of trees near his home in Palmyra, New York, and prayed to learn which church he should join. In answer to his prayer, God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, appeared to him, just as heavenly beings had appeared to prophets like Moses and Paul in biblical times. Joseph learned that the Church originally organized by Jesus Christ was no longer on the earth.
Joseph Smith was chosen by God to restore the Church of Jesus Christ to the earth. During the next 10 years, Joseph was visited by other heavenly messengers, translated the Book of Mormon, and received authority to organize the Church. The Church was organized in Fayette, New York, on 6 April 1830, under the leadership of Joseph Smith. It has grown to an organization with members and congregations throughout the world.

I have not "seen" god. I would be very skeptical of anyone who says they did. Now I'll look at your answers.
