My grandpa loved Magnifying glasses for reading. You can find a nice one at Pier One. At that age, they really don't need much!

Hello Dear =)

There is nothing practical that a person that age needs......so...

Do you have access to any old photos of him with family, friends??

Something like that, framed, would be nice, but keep it small, so he can set it on a dresser or some other easy place, and pick it up from time to time........

Nothing too emotional, like a wedding picture of him and your grandmother, or anything like that, but just some happy moment in time, a happy snapshot, of him and people he loved/loves.....

Namaste, and Happy Holidays,

--Tom

It's the thoughts that counts right? haha.
anyway, im sure your grandpa would be very happy if he knew that you care so much for him and his birthday.

Hee, perhaps a meal? im sure your grandpa wouldnt want you to spend too much money on presents.

buy his favourite meal, take it around to his place, share it with him and let him tell you all his wonderful stories. That's what i did for my grandfather at his 90th recently, and he absolutely loved it , at 90 they really don't need anything material.
