As we get older, teeth have a natural progression to go yellower.
Cosmetic dentistry is now more popular than ever.
Bleaching your teeth is very safe to do, but there are different ways to getting a "whiter" smile.
Your teeth will only whiten to their inherit colour and any fillings that are present will not change due to the material they are made from.
You can purchase the "paint on" from the supermarket but this doesn't stay on your teeth long enough and I find that it's a waste. This can be quite cheap, about $20.
The other option is to see your dentist and ask for "zoom" or laser bleaching. This is very expensive and could cost well over $1200. This takes about 1 hour in office and can make your teeth very very sensitive (I mean for days and days).
The best option I would suggest, is a home bleaching kit. Trays are made from moulds that are taken of your mouth and then a small amount of slow releasing peroxide paste is placed in the trays and inserted into your mouth. This process takes about 1 hour and is done everyday for up to 10 days.
The good thing about this is that is costs aout $300 and you will always have the trays. You can purchase "top up" bleaching syringes if you notice that the shade has dropped back again or if you have a special occasion.
This is how I bleach my teeth and it works but remember not to eat or drink anything for a couple of hours otherwise you are just chasing your tail. Avoid red wine, tea/coffe, tobacco and spicy foods as these will stain your teeth whilst bleaching.
Happy New Year!

STEP 1: Brush and floss regularly to reduce or prevent stains
STEP 2: Try whitening toothpastes. Though these only partially whiten your teeth and don't provide a complete remedy.
STEP 3: Get regular dental cleanings, which remove many food and tobacco stains.
That's all I know :)

first of all brush them. no seriously you can use baking soda, just dip a damp toothbrush in the baking soda and brush them like you do with toothpaste a couple times a week and that should do the trick. They also have toothpastes with tartar control for smokers and coffee drinkers. Good Luck! Or go to the dentist and have your teeth cleaned.

ok so some thing that will coast about a buck... reg. peroxide. i pour some in to my mouth right before i get in to the shower and about half way through i spit it out some times i leave it longer some times just a short rince before i brush and let me tell ya it really works. try it for just a shor period of time at first, different ppl react differently to different things ya know, but see how it feels and then judge from that. it takes about a wk of doing it to get massave results but you'll see it after the first try. be warned though it tastes like **** and makes your mouth feel really funny till you brush but it really does the trick and is really good for healthy gums too. :)
