how do you know your drunk?

There are many different levels of drunkeness.

Relaxed: Despite having a stressful day you feel pretty at ease right now.

Tipsy: Jokes seem funnier, members of the opposite sex seem easier to approach.

Merry: Slurring of words, you feel a little dizzy and may find it difficult to walk in a straight line. (It's often a good idea to stop drinking at this point, but you won't want to at the time.)

Wasted: Your head is spinning and your vision is blurred, you may feel queasy. You can still be aware of what's going on around you if you focus but generally you're only interested in whatever you are doing.

Absolutely wrecked: Chances are you've thrown up by now, you can barely walk and most of your speech is unintelligible. You don't really know what's happening and you probably won't rememember anything you do in this state once you've woken up.

Usually you don't know that you are drunk. Everyone else knows, unless they are all drunk too. When you wake up the next day with a hangover and everyone telling you what a fool you made of yourself, is usually the first sign that you know that you were drunk. I used to work in a bar and you usually cannot make someone believe they are drunk.

They always think they are just fine. some we've had to take keys and drive home. They thanked us the next day, when they didn't remember half of the night when they were swearing they weren't drunk.

A few drunks do realize they are drunk when they can't think straight, can't talk right, and can barely walk. But, most can be falling in the floor and still swear they aren't drunk.

It starts with a little woozy feeling in your head, as if you just woke up and your aren't really awake; this followed by or along with a slight decrease in peripheral vision and a kleenex kind of muffling of sounds, ex. voices of those around you. Your eyes don't seem to want to focus on one thing for more than a second, but keep trying anyway, without success; your mind slows down and repeats short thoughts as if stuck in a rut, you feel like you need to pee but, in the beginning, can't keep the thought long enough to actually go to a toilet and then.. well, you think you can just drink and drink, more and more, and DO, and THEN....end up throwing up on the floor of a bathroom where you finally got to, to pee.
AND THEN THE NEXT DAY!!

If you had other people around you when all this happened they will remind you how drunk you were... and the whole time you are feeling so sick and your head is gonna burst and you know if you move too fast, you will throw up. Death sound so good!

The best way to find out is through experience. And sometimes it's not always slurred words and people being attractive. You might get upset and cry for a long time. You also may try to rape a 5 year old girl (I didn't do that one, my friend did). You may even run away from....anything.

You know when your drunk when you can't walk straight or even say a full sentence without slurring your words. That is when you know your drunk.
