Setting The Classic Look For Windows XP

Go into your Control Panel by first clicking on the Start Button.

Then click on the Control Panel icon located in the right column of the Start Menu.

If your Start Menu is set to the Classic View, then begin by clicking on the Start Button.

Then click on Settings, then click on the Control Panel icon to open up the Control Panel.

Now, Double click on the Display icon to open up the Display Properties window.

Windows XP will automatically default to the Themes tab allowing you to make adjustments.

Under the Theme: section, click the down arrow and choose the Windows Classic Theme.

Then click the OK button to implement your changes and close the Display Properties Window.

Then close the Control Panel to return back to your Windows session.

You will now notice that Windows XP is set to the Classic look you were familiar with.

homestead windows + R and kind on top of issues userpasswords2 Then replace the password for the person if required and make useful that the "person might desire to circulate right into someone call and password to apply this laptop" is unchecked in case you do no longer desire password administration even however there's a password put in place! Why try this? so as that persons who does not have actual get admission to on your laptop will want a password to get admission to your laptop, like documents, distant get admission to etc...

When you go onto your internet, go to tools, options, and the first screen you see will have a tab at the top GENERAL. You can choose there, to have your homepage be blank, the current theme (which, if that is what you want, then make sure you are on the one you want), or default (which is your VTP).
