I Want my tounge pierced and i want to know if i should go for it. i already have two tattoos (dainty ones though: a baby tweety on my ankle and my name on my chest) my navel and nose pierced also. HELP ME!!

Don't know of any pro's but have read they can cause damage to teeth and they did have a report on T.V. of a girl who lost a large part of her tongue through infection. She was devastated and had difficulty speaking and eating. While I felt sorry for her I couldn't help thinking it was her own fault.
If you do it please don't bleat about it if it goes wrong.

I do not have my tongue pierced but i have friends that do and to be honest other than being able to say you have it done it isn't worth all you go through. It hurst, it swells, you can't eat for days, you talk funny after it is done even after it heals. and to be honest when it comes to jobs alot of company's don't allow visible piercings. as for the sexual pleasure-it's not going to do you any good at all-it will only please the other person if it even pleases them at all. I don't think its worth the pain and trouble.
