Yeah... if it were a psychological glitch, why is it showing up in animals that don't have the hang-ups that humans do?

Ah... actually, I've not observed thi behavior in a lot of mammals. Male dogs will mount other male dogs, but then male humans will embrace other male humans and not have a homosexual impulse in them. As for manatees and dolphins, I'd like to see your references-- and yours specifically!
Google? Considered a pretty flimsy source by most college-educated people. Biologists? I don't know any, but I'll bet they'll ask for your references. Kennel workers? See above paragraph.
Homosexuality is a choice, for humans and other creatures. Everything you do (with exceptions for wholly involuntary motions) is a choice.
Here's a question for you: If murder is wrong, why does every single other species on earth practice it?
You've obviously fallen for both innacurate sources and a warped version of the bandwagon fallacy. Just because other creatures do this, that, and the other does not mean that it's right.

I would like to begin by saying that God did not create anything unnatural. Genisis 1:1 says: "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." All natural goodness. God created our world and everything in it - including the first humans - perfect. Unfortunately, with what is called the "fall of man," We as humans turned our backs on God and decided to follow our own sinful desires. When this happened, the world was not perfect anymore. Thus began: death, disease, poverty, pain, pain in childbirth, WORK, murder, hate, rape, and all sorts of other atrocities.
So to somewhat answer your question... actually, to show you that you're asking the wrong question, God did not "make homosexuality so common" It came about because we followed our own desires, rather than follow his will.
Oh, and by the way, I am not saying that being homosexual and murdering someone are the same thing (although I do believe that hate and murder are the same). I don't believe that sexuality is a sin. Just like premarital and adulterous relationships, homosexual ones need be avoided, and CAN be avoided. If you would like a link for success stories, I can surely provide that.
Thanks.

All the earth is suffering from the Fall. So, if it would be wrong for animals (which it may not matter one way or the other), then it was caused by the Fall.
We are not just animals. I know they have been brain washing you since you could sit up and watch TV, to believe that. God did make all sorts of animals He loves to create. When He was done making just animals, He created a special animal. He did something He hadn't done with any of the others. He put His image into man. He being a Spirit gave man a spirit. We are spiritual beings! What we do with our bodies affects our spirits. He gave sex as a beautiful gift between a husband and wife to model His love and the relationship he wants to have with us. NO, not sexual, Intimate, one on one, excluding all others.
He made it fun. He didn't have to, but He wanted to give us this gift and make it enjoyable. It is a powerful gift like fire. When used correctly it gives great benefits. When used incorrectly it causes devestation.
Homosexual sin is a result of a mixture of many sins, many not done by the Homosexual. Our practically pornographic society is probably the main leader in this, but even that is a result of many individual sins. I know it is hard to believe, but you can come out of the homosexual lifestyle and be forgiven and happy. It happened in the new testament times and is still happening today. The Bondage Breakere is Jesus. If you want to know more, read your Bible (maybe start with John).

Playing the piano with toes is unnatural too and some people can do that.
There are a lot of "unnatural" things in life. Some weird combinations with food, metal objects left inside some patients after surgery, some rare diseases seem unnatural for the very fact that they're rare.
Why is anything unnatural thought as negative? It's a fact of life. Accept it. Really, all things "unnatural" are natural (unless humans cause them like the metal in body thing). But humans are natural and our actions are too I guess. That metal thing is just a mistake that statistically just happens sometimes. Our sexual orientations are natural too.
Why do we even have the word "unnatural" if nothing really happens outside nature (attributed to the supernatural that is) or outside the actions of humans (and humans are natural)?
I'm repeating myself... kind of rambling here, but I'm trying to make a point. It's the same as the word "atheist". Why IS there a such word and not a word like "a-physicist", "a-artist", etc.?

LETS FACE IT,,,
1. Homosexuality does NOT happen in other species and there is no evidence so far to what scientists say except some observations which could all be wrong
2. Homosexuality is not even a disease or so, it is simply a psychological thing that could be treated with some strong willingness to become a NORMAL person... psychologists said so and I -personally - know a lesbian who insisted on leaving this bad habit and after few years of trying HARD , she got it right and is getting married in few months to a male of course
3. ALL religions deny homosexuality , their were nations and peoples perished by God because of that before such as the Lot nation ... homosexuals should not forget that ... they also must exepect God's punishment soon.

Nicole, we as people are animals. and that i agree, that in basic terms some specie actually have a sexual orientation, as a result homosexuality won't be unnatural in this sense. Animals tend to declare dominance via mounting, yet while somebody climbed on me and did that, there could be a subject. however, as people are frequently separated from the animal kingdom (and regardless of that homosexuality replaced into additionally contemporary for many centuries) people nevertheless from upon it.

We have a lot of things in common with other mammals- like we all produce milk to feed our young. But Human Beings were given the ability by the Creator to choose whether or not they would live by the rules set forth by the creator. Some people are murderers & kill other people, but they had to make a decision on whether or not they want to be a murderer. I see homosexuality in the same way. You have to actually choose whether or not you want to participate in homosexual acts. I feel that nearly everybody has had or will have curiosities in the area of homosexuality. The big question is, are they gonna act out on those feelings/curiosities.

Well, that's simply not true, though I'm not surprised that you don't know that, since you seem to think that you're some sort of religious authority. *rolls eyes*
Pagans don't deny homosexuality for the most part (I cannot speak for EVERY type of Pagan religion), and there are specifically all-gay-male groups who practice a tradition of Wicca, as well as all-gay-women groups, too. But mostly, we just welcome gay folks the same as any others at any of our celebrations.

Other animals are homosexual? No, sorry, they’re not.
First, humans are the only living beings on earth that derive pleasure from sexual intercourse. ALL other living organisms pro-create to do just that, create more life.
Second, we may see things that seem like homosexual acts in other animals, but there must be another reason for this if it’s not for pleasure. Many animals use the same act to show dominance (humans do too). It’s not for sexual reasons; but, to put it bluntly, as in a dog’s case it would be like saying “you’re my b****, and I am your leader.”
Thirdly, as mentioned ALL other living organisms pro-create to carry on there existence. Some animals don’t even have a Male-Female boundary. Humans CHOOSE to be homosexuals, even if the feel the have a “drive” to be because of hormones, genes, or upbringing; they choose their own lifestyle. Again, animals and other living things don’t do this; everything is natural and the way it’s supposed to be. Humans are unnatural and that’s what God intended.

Luckily, I don't believe it's unnatural. Otheriwse, I think I'd be blindly ignorant if I tried to deny that it was in nature. Many people have the argument that it is "unnatural" and that every sexual union must be to create kids. I think humanity definitely has enough children as it is. So, any marriage can have kids. It's called adoption.
Errr, anyway: Homosexuality = natural. Go mother nature.
