Me and my gf have been dating for 3 months. When were around people she is kinda mean to me when were out in public. I really like her and she says she really likes me back what should I do. (P.S. She has a tendency to flirt with other guys when I'm not around)

i would confront her about it, tell her that you dont like the way she treats you and that if she really liked you like she says she needs to start treating you better, then just go from there and see what happens.

dude, you better get out of the relationship right now. I just got out of mine of 2 yrs. the first 6 mths was what your going through but it gets worse. It's a control issue. Unless you take control now and put her in her place by not letting her get away with the disrespect or the flirtations when your not around. But if that's what you like than you better be prepared for the rough times ahead. She will control you dude by making you jealous or fear of not being able to get a girl like her. Pay attention to what she says and does. Best advice I ever got is if the girl respects you and she wants to really be with you, than she wouldn't have any desire to flirt or disrespect you in public. It's her way of seeing how you will be able to react. If you let her get away with it than you better hand over your integrity now.

It sounds to me that she may be with you to pass the time. Hopefully that is not the case though. If she is mean to you, then you need to let her know. Tell he straight up and don't sugar coat it. If you let her treat you this way, then she will continue and you don't deserve that. Now you also have to think of the consequences that it may bring by telling her. If she really cares for you, then she will understand and change. If she doesn't care what you say, then she may just break up with you.
I would suggest telling her, because you don't need to be with some one like that. There are other women out there that will treat you better. Good Luck with your situation!!

Maybe she has commitment issues. It seems like when you two are close, she tries to push you away by being mean. She might be scared to let someone get close to her so she decides to just flirt with other people. Talk to her about it and tell her that it really bothers you and that you really like her. If she is still mean or if she doesn't have a legitimate reason for being mean or flirtatious, it might be time for you to find another girl that's more worthy of your time.

Dump her. I know it is easier said than done, but trust me, you don't need her treating you like that. And think, it has only been for three months. Just think about how she will treat you in 6 months, or 1 year! She is not worth it, you deserve better! Start 2007 out by dumping her and regaining your self-esteem.

Have a one-on-one chat with her. Advise her how you feel. Perhaps she's not aware how you feel. She could think that you're 'enjoying' it. So speak with her. Everybody deserves a second chance. After the talk, if she hasn't changed, then I'm afraid you'll have to get used to it or drop her and move on in life.

Be free with her and do the same she does. (flirt with other girls when she is not around or even in presence of her). See the result. If she really loves you, she would protest and that would be the sign of love towards you. If not, she is a play-girl. Leave her.

Dump her like a hot potato! You can do better. She's just playing you -- it won't get any better the more you know her. Don't be wimp -- demand to be treated well by the woman you're with. With friends like her who needs enemies.

talk to her and ask her to respect you or your gone. use a scare tactic. if she doesnt agree and says that it will only be that way in public tell her you cant deal with it and your gone. i suggest that you watch the 1st season of the o.c.
that doesnt need to be apart of your life if she cant deal with you in public dump her.
