Yummy. Consider yourself lucky if having this in the field. Make sure it is well cleaned, not overly cooked, good stuffing. No salt required. Avoid the head, bile, possibly kidney and liver.

Least it is a one up on camel's meat and saves having to tell one's parents of what really transpired.

A friend (a strict vegetarian - Gen) who would have made a very good officer had to drop out of jungle warfare training as energy provided from roots, berries and herbs were insufficient.

Son, the American military has ate everything over the years. My stomach still crawls at the words of ham and Lima beans. gopher stew might be an improvement.
