Why do people ask so many questions based on generalizations? The most common ones deal with the beauty of women based on their race. For example someone will ask-Why are (insert race of women)...so attractive? Then a bunch of people will respond as if what they're saying is true for every individual of that race. These types of questions are most commonly raised by the ill informed...please stop with the generalizations. I guess people are all for these generalizations until someone asks, why are (insert race of people) three times more likely to have children and drop out of school than every other race...Generalizations only make you sound ignorant. Am I the only one who notices this on here and gets annoyed by it?

Don't know sugar, u gotta be comfortable in ur skin in here. What u are showing us is a black woman who has been offended, ur exposing ur own insecurites to the sharks! What is hidden is that u are intellegent. What do you want to shine through? When people come to answers they leave their moral character in the trunk of their car under a probabally flat spare. Ur smart so let that show, people here have opinions and they weild them like swords. They also have curious questions, where else can I ask questions of other races and get some actual answers? It's a little cold in here, but u get used to it.

There are generalizations on every race but let's be real, some of them are true. I don't look at someone and automatically see their race but I'm in the minority (no pun). Most people makes those statements based on things they've read and seen without really knowing any of the people. That's just a crappy part of life I suppose. I guess most people of color are more sensitive to it because we've been sterotyped for the way we look or our color instead of what we've done.

Well, when someone states that a certain race is more attractive than others, it simply implies that the person has a preference of certain people, like if someone was attracted to latino people, then they would find latinos more attractive than white people. Your example of a generalization was kinda off...a more plausible generalization would be "why is it that white people are so racist" that's a better generalization, because although some are, not all are. And another is "why are americans so arrogant" some may be arrogant, but not all are.

I notice it ALL the time and it totally disgusts me.

Skin color is only skin deep and just because someone is a certain color and is attractive/not attractive, it doesn't mean that EVERY other person that color is of the same attractiveness.

Personality is what is important, not race.

Are you saying (insert race here)s don't drop out of school and have more children than they should?

No you are not. Beauty is skin deep, it lies within all of us, some people just don't see what is inside of another person, they only see the outside and believe this is what makes us all tick.
