Just understand that you are the only one who knows what you know about your topic and therefore you are the only hope for those poor people who so desparately need the information. You will still be nervous to start with but once you get going you will be fine. Imagine them all in their underwear.

Stage Fright To eliminate stage fright: Practice performing at home by yourself. Only think about the performance. Where the thought is going, what you are trying to do to make it great. Think about how your voice sounds. Think about what the words mean. If you think about these things, focusing on the performance you have no reason for stage fright. You are not thinking about the audience. You must learn to do this in practice and performance. Good Luck

I speak in public a lot. This helps me:

If you don't know the audience, you'll never see them again so who cares what they think. Just relax, they don't matter.

For an audience that you do know. Most of these people care about you and are already on your side. Do your best, they'll get it.

Your question sounds like it's for school. If the others will need to do this also, they will be kind to you as they hope you will be kind to them when it's their turn.

Bottom line, relax. I make a mistake every time I speak. I correct, sometimes make a joke, and move on.

Good luck!

First of all, practice, practice, practice. Dress nice, too, because those factors will boost your confidence (and you make you a more credible speaker).

Attribute your jitters not to nervousness but excitement! Avoid caffeine beforehand. Envision yourself doing well, and take some deep breaths before speaking. Keep a bottle of water nearby in case your mouth gets dry.

The best of luck and skill to you. Hope you get an A.
