The items shown above are certainly examples of recycled leather but are a small part. Recycled leather usually refers to leather items that are used or smaller scraps from manufacturing processes that are broken down into fibers and remanufactured into a new leather material. These materials are inferior to real leather but look like leather and provide a much cheaper product.
Don't confuse this with "bonded leather" which uses some recycled leather fibers but a whole lot of other man made fibers such as paper.

I'll give you an example, its easier.
Lets say i bought a used coat - thats recycling it.
Or that I make leather gloves, or a belt from an old couch cushion. Thats recycling it.
