20 years older but the equipment still works AND they know how to use it and make a girl feel "special". Older guys are GREAT.

If the woman is 20 years older than the man. Then, the chances of her having a child decrease. Say the man is 18 and she's 38. Then, she's the limiting sex when it comes to having offspring. Since, women on average globally age faster reproductively. Strangely, their husbands are almost always older. Sometimes much older. We men can have children into our 70's. But, that's bad too. It's a fact that older men have much more mutations than younger men. Had women chosen much younger men as their husbands in human history. The incidence of deleterious hereditary disease would be much lower. Women are getting smarter about this nowadays. The health of the offspring depends almost exclusively on the age of the father at conception
If the mother has no genetic defects herself and isn't malnurished or diseased during pregnancy. Another problem is mens shorter lives compared to women their same age. If you look at statistics on longevity between men and women. Women generally live significantly longer, 5-10 years longer. So,even if you were to marry a man who's the same age. You can expect to become a widow 5-10 years before you die. The older he is. The sooner you can expect to be a widow.

I think that age does not matter as all....as long as it does not matter to the two people involved in the relationship. If you think it matters, it will mostly impact the relationship negatively. If you both really care about each other (and do not care what everyone else things just as some friends, family), then the age does not matter at all. I have a great friend, who has had a long term relationship with a man 30 years her senior. Some might say that it is strange, weird, or disgusting....but once you meet them and know them together you know that they are great for both of them. Just do what makes you feel right. Hope this helps.

NO it could work .. Whats age got to do with it...as in do you have any thing in comman? Also do you love and respect each other..Take it slow and dont rush into anything. Dont know who is older but hey love shows no matter what the age difference is.I know and he is 18 yrs older than me . So been there and still there. And he is a treasure to me.

Age is generally irrelevant. However that depends how old you are.... 20 & 40 no probs, 14 & 34 definitely not.
I know alot of ppl with big age gaps and it seems to make no difference to them. I guess it all revolves around the sort of ppl you are and how well suited.

Perhaps it can with some compromising. The age gap would mean being at different points in your lives and possibly wanting different things.

well that would all depend, if you are talking someone that is 15 with someone that is 35, no that will not work!! but if you are talking about someone whom is lets say 35 with someone that is 55 that couple would stand a good chance of making the relationship work.. If you don't understand my answer feel free to e-mail me. :-)

Age shouldn't really matter when it's love. Cheesy, right? haha. But really, my dad is 63 and my mom is 46 and they have been married for 21 years. So it can work.

Age is numbers that which in your mind can be all in how you perceive it! Age has nothing to do with what your heart feels!NO unless you want it to make a difference!
